Surgical masks are effective personal protection equipment that creates a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of the wearer and potential contaminants, offering great protection between contacts. Made with nonwoven fabrics, the surgical mask features better bacteria filtration and air permeability while remaining less slippery than woven cloth. With either 20 or 25 grams / m2 in density, polypropylene (PP) is the most commonly used material for the production of surgical masks.
The surgical masks consist of three layers: outer layer made of PP spun bond non-woven fabric, PP melt-blown fabric and active carbon non-woven fabric for the interlayer, inner layer made of PP spun bond non-woven fabric or ES non-woven fabric.
Our mask production lines for making surgical masks are designed with PLC control system, touch screen, single phase motor for conveyor, and stepper motor for turning device, offering precise control and high stability in running.
